HOW IT ALL BEGAN
India Pentecostal Assembly had its humble beginnings in the year 1988 under the able leadership of Rev K.V. Kurian and continued under his leadership until he was promoted to glory in September 2002. From the moment of its inception, the hand of God has been with the church in every aspect of its being. What began as a handful of families is today a church with more than a hundred families. And what’s amazing about this number is that the church is still growing.
Rev. Kurian was called to glory while undergoing a medical treatment in Kerala, India. The funeral services were held in New York. People from all over the United States and Canada came to bid farewell and pay their respects to this great man of God.
After Rev. K.V. Kurian was promoted to glory in September 2002,
Rev. K. V. Abraham became the Senior Pastor of IPA from January 2003 to June 2008.
As of July 2008 Rev. Finney Samuel has been serving as the Senior Pastor.
