"Train a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not turn from it." -- Proverbs 22:6 John W. Whitehead once said that, children are the living messages we send to a time we will not see. As a church, we realize that we have an enormous responsibility to train our children in the way they should go. With this in mind, we have organized our Sunday School in such a way that each group is provided age appropriate education with a curriculum centered on Bible readings and application to life. Brother Sam Chacko currently serves as the Sunday School Director. Brother Sam Kurian and Sister Susamma Thomas serve as Associate Sunday School Directors. Sunday School Song Services are held from 9:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. Thereafter, Scripture classes are held from 10:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. India Pentecostal Assembly has about 160 students and 32 teachers (including substitute teachers). We have 15 children’s classes and 1 adult class. The medium of instruction is English, except for the Adult class, which is held in Malayalam. The adult Sunday School class is taught by our pastors. Seventh to Eleventh Grade: SSNAK Curriculum
Hi-Teens and above : IPA curriculum Annual Penny Saver Drive: Each year, the IPA Sunday School collects their left over pennies, nickles, dimes, and quarters and brings them to the Sunday School Anniversary or to the Annual Thanksgiving services. The money is collected and distributed through IPC Charity Fund and other charity organizations, to the poor and less fortunate children in India and Central America.
Other Events: IPA Sunday School has also taken the whole church to out-of-state trips in the past years. We have visited Busch Gardens, Virginia, Dorney Park, Pennsylvania, Hershey Park, Pennsylvania, Sight and Sight Christian Shows in Lancaster, PA etc.
